LOG INTO PLANNING CENTER
To log on, go to planningcenteronline.com and enter your user ID (your email address) and password into the top right portion of the Planning Center homepage. Once you log in to Planning Center, you will have access to all the information that relates to the service dates you are scheduled for. If you have any issues logging in, please contact your team's staff leader.
SEE WHEN YOU'RE SERVING
After logging in, the homepage should list all of the services for which you're scheduled to serve. If you don’t see them, make sure you're not in one of the Satellite folders (e.g.: Buckhead). The North Point Worship folder—which contains our service plans—is under the North Point folder, which is under the root NPMi folder.
OPEN A SPECIFIC PLAN
Clicking on a specific Sunday date on your plans page will bring up the service plan for that Sunday. This is where you will find specific information about that Sunday.
CHECK AND ADD A BLOCK-OUT DATE
Clicking on the “BLOCK OUT DATES” button below your calendars will bring up the block-out dates pop-up window. This is where you will enter in your block-out dates—dates you are not available to serve on our team.
ACCEPT A SCHEDULED SERVING TIME
After we get the monthly production schedule finished, you will receive an email letting you know that you've been scheduled. If you're scheduled more than once you may receive multiple emails, one for each scheduled time. This email verifies that you've been added to the schedule. Please open the email and click on the “ACCEPT” button if you're able to serve on that day. Click the “DECLINE” button if you're not able; otherwise we have no idea whether you can serve or not. You should also get another email the Tuesday before the Sunday you're scheduled to serve just as a reminder.
CHANGE YOUR SPAM SETTINGS SO YOU RECEIVE EMAILS
If you're not receiving emails from Planning Center it may mean that your email provider’s spam filter is blocking the email. Here’s how to “whitelist” or add Planning Center to your “safe senders” list:
Click Contacts on the left side of any Gmail page.
Click Add Contact.
In the primary email address box, type firstname.lastname@example.org.
Click the Addresses button.
Select "Add Contact."
Save "email@example.com" to your contacts list.
On the left side of the page, click Mail, and then click Junk E-Mail Protection.
Click Safe List.
Type firstname.lastname@example.org, and then click Add.
Right-click on a message from email@example.com.
Point to Junk E-mail, and click Add Sender to Safe Senders List.
